  • Senior Strategy Manager (Media & Advertising Revenue)

    At Checkatrade, we are committed to empowering trades to connect with homeowners and grow their customer base. As we continue to expand our platform and enhance our offerings, we are seeking a visionary Senior Manager to lead the development of Checkatrade’s media / ad tech revenue model. You’ll shape the future of advertising within our ecosystem, drive innovation, and unlock new growth opportunities. This is an exciting time to join a business set to deliver 10 x growth over the coming years.     Location: Kings Cross, London. Hybrid working applies. 4 days in the office.

    Where do you fit in?

    Reporting to the MD of Innovation, you’ll develop and execute a strategy to take our advertising business from 0 to 1. This includes creating a holistic strategy for building and monetising new advertising products and revenue streams leveraging Checkatrade's platform. Your role will include undertaking market research, industry analysis, and collating customer insights to identify opportunities and define product requirements.  This is a highly collaborative opportunity! You'll get to work closely with a broad range of cross-functional teams including product development, sales, marketing, and operations to drive alignment and successful execution. Ultimately, you’ll lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation and concept validation to launch and ongoing optimisation. Could this be you? Let's get it done!

    What do you need to succeed?

    • You'll have considerable and proven experience in management consulting, business development, or operations in a large business or a growing start up.
    • You'll be experienced working with advertising platforms, ad tech solutions (these are a must!) and digital marketing channels would be a bonus!
    • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans and initiatives.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-driven approach and a passion for innovation and experimentation.
    • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
