We have a game-changing opportunity for a Category Principal to join our powerhouse Strategic Accounts team. This is a role where leadership meets strategy and results matter. You'll lead, inspire, and elevate a team of Strategic Account Managers. You'll ensure our top-tier account managers crush their KPIs in revenue, customer service, and response times. Your leadership will be instrumental in fuelling growth and optimising performance. Location: Kings Cross, London. Hybrid working applies. 4 days in the office.
Where do you fit in?
Reporting to the General Manager of Strategic Accounts, you’ll oversee team management, providing coaching, development, and support to ensure every team member performs at their peak. This role is a powerful mix of leadership, strategic thinking, and execution. You’ll take full ownership of principle accounts, driving growth, optimising performance, and ensuring 100% account hygiene—from managing MBRs to budget uncapping. Your focus will be on building and executing book growth plans, ensuring that every category under your management generates maximum ROI and month-over-month expansion. Beyond account and team management, you’ll be a key player in shaping our enterprise product, working cross-functionally to evolve the Strategic Accounts offering into a world-class solution. You'll ensure seamless communication of new product releases, collecting and relaying feedback to drive continuous innovation and improvement. With a sharp focus on KPIs, you’ll build short, medium, and long-term strategies to ensure every account meets its defined metrics. Partnering with the operations team, you’ll report on monthly and quarterly performance, input into forecasting exercises, and drive ongoing progress.
