At Checkatrade, we’re on a mission to connect homeowners with trusted tradespeople, making home improvements easy. We’ve built a market-leading brand, expanded our trade base, and seen record-breaking consumer demand – and we’re just getting started. If you want to build something big, make an impact, and grow in a fast-paced environment, this is the place for you!
Location: Kings Cross, London. Hybrid working applies.
Where do you fit in?
As an Engineering Manager leading our Agent Tooling team, you’ll be responsible for building and scaling the internal tools and platforms used by our Sales, Operations, and Support teams. You’ll work across a wide variety of systems – including Salesforce and Zuora – with the focus on engineering leadership rather than platform expertise.
Your mission will be to set the technical direction, support and develop a talented team of engineers, and drive innovation that enhances productivity and customer experience. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in Product, Sales, and Engineering, ensuring solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned to strategic goals.
This is a great opportunity for an engineering leader who’s passionate about internal tools and platforms, keen to develop people, and confident leading across a wide technical landscape.
