  • B2B Paid Social Performance Manager

Checkatrade’s mission is to be the trusted foundation of every home by connecting people with the trades and tools to make home improvements easy. To help us get there, we are looking for a Senior Performance Marketing Manager with a unique blend of creativity and analytical expertise to drive trade member acquisition across Paid Social channels. You’ll oversee high-value budgets, set growth-driven roadmaps, and constantly strive to discover optimisations to increase acquisition volume and efficiency. With a strong technical foundation in tools like Google Tag Manager and experience with conversion API integrations, you’ll ensure effective tracking while collaborating closely with in-house creative teams to build scalable ad-testing frameworks. You’ll join us during a period of fast growth and game-changing initiatives that will change the face of home improvements forever. Surrounded by passionate people looking to level up, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Paid Social Performance Marketeer. Ready to join us on our journey?

Location: Kings Cross, London. Hybrid working applies with 3 days in the office minimum.

    Where do you fit in?

Reporting to the Director of Performance Marketing you’ll lead the strategic direction and day-to-day management of trade member acquisition campaigns across social media platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn). This includes setting up the roadmap and ensuring optimal execution to achieve growth targets. You’ll allocate and manage budgets with precision, planning, pacing, and re-distributing spend as needed to maximise new trade member acquisition and growth. You’ll also develop accurate forecasts to account for seasonality, market trends, halo effects, and diminishing returns. Highly data-driven, you’ll analyse and interpret KPIs to understand channel success sharing insights and updates with stakeholders at all levels. Additionally, you’ll ensure all accounts are configured for optimal performance, including the implementation of pixels, conversion APIs, data feeds and dynamic ads. Finally, you’ll work closely with in-house creative teams to test, analyse and scale effective new creative strategies.

    What’s in it for you?

    • Be part of a unique fast-moving scale-up business, with committed investors, ambitious plans and a clear roadmap on how we get there.
    • A high-impact role that will drive B2B growth.
    • An excellent salary and benefits package that includes an annual bonus scheme, private medical and much more.

We are an equal opportunities employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

What do you need to succeed?

    • You’ll have a sound Paid Social Performance Marketing background from a tech-first marketplace or subscription business.
    • You’ll be skilled in Meta and have a broad understanding of the paid social landscape. This includes LinkedIn, TikTok, and X (Twitter), with a nuanced approach to each platform
    • Ability to balance creativity with data-driven strategy, to meet ambitious acquisition and revenue goals.
    • Technical skills across Google Tag Manager, API integration, Google Analytics, Excel, PowerBI and SQL with a knack for distilling complex data into actionable insights.
    • Ability to shift seamlessly between tactical, short-term actions and big-picture, long-term strategies to serve a rapidly evolving business.
    • Excellent communication skills include persuasive copywriting and a highly collaborative approach that engages cross-functional teams around you.
    • We are fast-paced, and so are you. Quick to adapt, you’ll be unfazed by rapid changes.
