Location: Kings Cross, London or Lakeside, Portsmouth. Hybrid working applies.

Where do you fit in?

As the Senior Product Manager, you will lead the development of our in-house communication platform, building and improving capabilities such as chat, photo sharing, and video calls. You’ll take full ownership of the job management process, ensuring seamless tracking and completion of jobs for both consumers and tradespeople. You will work in close partnership with our Trade, MarTech, and Data teams to ensure communication tools evolve in tandem with the marketplace’s dynamic demands. This role offers a unique opportunity to redefine the landscape of communication and job management at Checkatrade. What do you need to succeed?

• Technical expertise in building chat products – you’ve worked on messaging products (Whatsapp, Discord, Telegram etc) and understand the intricacies of communication tools.
• Communication management – You know how to balance the needs of both sides of a marketplace
• Strategic leadership – 50% of your time will be spent shaping the future of our communication tools, making key strategic decisions to optimise the user experience for all.
• Collaboration – We will need you to work across multiple core teams in Checkatrade, proven experience within this is key.
