Your role will drive the development and implementation of cutting-edge technology that enhances Checkatrade’s performance, ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional service to our tradespeople and homeowners – making us the trusted foundation of every home. Location: Hybrid working applies, London Kings Cross or Lakeside, Portsmouth. Remote working will be considered.

Where do you fit in?

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to join us and lead the creation of two strategically important teams within our Trade Alliance. You’ll work closely with Product Managers and stakeholders across Checkatrade to build and execute roadmaps, driving the successful integration of an Ad Tech partner for targeted advertising and monetisation. You will also be establishing key third-party partnerships to enhance our Trade offerings. Experience working with remote, nearshore teams will be a significant asset to the team as you’ll focus on getting our nearshore EU teams up and running. What do you need to succeed?

• Proven experience in building effective engineering teams from scratch, with a focus on managing nearshore teams.
• Experience working within Product Development teams, working closely with engineering teams to develop and executive effective, iterative roadmaps
• Experience with Ad Tech and partner integrations to drive strategic initiatives
• Ideally from a scale-up or enterprise environment with proven ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic setting.
