We have a newly created Product Director opportunity to own our Customer Lifecycle thinking. You’ll be an impact focused Product leader focussed on growing the number of customers (B2B and B2C). You’ll help them  get more out of their journey with Checkatrade, including ensuring we offer the right products and services at the right time. This is a fantastic opportunity to own the Customer Lifecycle Product area, driving the growth product strategy, roadmap and execution across Checkatrade. You’ll join us at an exciting time with top-leadership team on board and an exciting plan that will see us growing ten-fold. You’ll play a key role in preparing us for this growth, ultimately helping customer to get most value when using Checkatrade. Location: King's Cross, London or Portsmouth, Hampshire. Hybrid working applies with min 3 days in the office. 

Where do you fit in?

You’ll report directly to the CPO, joining a high impact team of product leaders at Checkatrade. We are on a mission to be the trusted foundation of every home. Why? Because we are a passionate team of game-changers who believe happiness begins at home! You’ll have a team of several Product Managers and a Product Analyst and agree that small teams make great thing happen! You’ll be highly collaborative in your approach. This includes working closely with Engineering, Product Design, Data and Commercial teams on product strategy, vision and roadmaps as well as align and deliver on OKRs. You’ll be an exceptional and inspirational product visionary, with the ability to think strategically whilst pulling on data and insights and navigating cross functional trade-offs. This is a growth product opportunity that requires experience across acquisition and engagement. Could that be you?

What do you need to succeed?

  • You’ll be a strategic product visionary with an impressive record of steering product areas that accelerate customer growth, owning acquisition and engagement metrics.
  • Ideally, you are familiar with MarTech tools and platforms that enable growth and customer management.
  • Your background will be modern marketplaces / tech.
  • Always Customer Obsessed, you’ll live by our values with a strong focus on customer centricity, Being Bold and thinking big. 
  • You'll be an inspirational Product Director, with experience successfully managing product teams including building capability and delivering efficiencies.  
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across cross functional teams and executive leadership.
