The Marketing team are on a mission to build exceptional consumer and trade experiences in social media. You’ll play an instrumental role in shaping the Checkatrade brand online. We are looking for motivated, passionate social media leaders to join our community as we grow our team and mature into excellence! You’ll join us at an exciting time with top-leadership team on board and an ambitious five-year plan that will see us growing ten-fold. Location: Kings Cross, London. Hybrid working applies. 3 days minimum in the office.

To drive this, we’re looking for an experienced Social Media Specialist to lead and drive our social media credentials forward, externally and internally. Reporting to the Head of Brand Communications, you’ll be the one leading the strategy, delivery, reporting and analysis. Working closely with the brand team, agencies, SEO, content and business teams, to build online experience that resonates with audiences and drives business results. You’re influential, inspiring, and able to work with others in a culture that values autonomy and empowerment. You’ll build and lead on the Checkatrade social media story, demonstrating and evaluating channel value. You’ll drive cohesive narratives across social channels (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, X, TikTok) working collaboratively across teams that are responsible for content plans creating a holistic narrative for the business. What do you need to succeed?
- A natural strategic mind with a gift for delivery and mining insight.
- Worked in fast paced teams, transformed channels, and build meaningful online brands.
- Demonstrable experience building social engagement.
- Strong and able to evidence B2C background of growing communities in app based digital first brands.
- Extensive knowledge in TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
- You are comfortable navigating complexity and can prioritise work across multiple teams.
- A social media specialist that has worked for a high-profile brand and knows how to build strategies that make a difference.
