Full Stack Engineer (Media Placement)
We’re looking for a Mid-Level Full Stack Engineer to join us at Checkatrade and be part of an exciting journey to revolutionise our media placement capabilities. You’ll play a key role in integrating and configuring our cutting edge AdTech partner into our ecosystem, shaping the future of how we deliver impactful media strategies. Location: London, Kings Cross or Portsmouth. Hybrid working.
Where do you fit in?
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will help build and enhance our platform using modern tools and technologies. In this role, you’ll create user-friendly, accessible interfaces for both web and mobile applications, using your experience in React Native and front-end design. You’ll also work on integrating external systems, ensuring everything runs smoothly and securely. Collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering projects that adapt to changing needs. What do you need to succeed?
- Extensive experience within the PERN stack (Postgres, Express, React, Node), experience with React Native is a bonus
- Ideally experience within AdTech workflows such as media buying or bidding and integrating platforms like Koddi.
- Experience in front-end development with a focus on creating user-friendly, responsible and accessible designs
- Experience integrating third party APIs
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define integration goals and adapt to evolving project needs.
Interview process:
Our interview process consists of two stages: an initial conversation with the hiring manager, followed by a second stage featuring a paired-programming technical exercise.
