  • Software Engineer (Customer Acquisition)

    This is a great opportunity for a Software Engineer to join our digital sign-up team focusing on customer acquisition. We are on a mission to be the trusted foundation of every home.     Location: Kings Cross, London or Lakeside, Portsmouth. Hybrid working applies. Minimum 3 days in office.

    Where do you fit in?

    Our digital sign up team is transforming how tradespeople sign up and get jobs from the millions of homeowners who use Checkatrade. We are committed to building a seamless online experience, which drastically reduces the time it takes to sign up, improving the experience for our members. We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer with experience in React and TypeScript, with strong experience in API development using TypeScript. You’ll dive into our backend, which is heavily built in C#, so familiarity with this is essential. Sound like you? Perfect!

    What do you need to succeed?

    • Proficiency in React.
    • Strong experience with API development using TypeScript.
    • Familiarity with C#
    • Two sided marketplace, big tech, or scale up industry experience.
    • Current development best practices – (Security, clean code, SOLID, async patterns).
