Principal Product Manager – Payments

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to build and maintain a new Payments platform. Having payments embedded on our platform plays a huge part in Checkatrade's goal of developing a full end-to-end marketplace. You’ll act as the subject matter expert for all payment related activity including fraud management. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your experience to deliver a best-in-class platform range of payment process. You’ll set the vision and engage our engineers on delivery. You’ll join us at an exciting time with a top-leadership team on board and an ambitious five-year plan that will see us growing ten-fold. You’ll get to lead on this critical greenfield product! Location: London or Portsmouth. Hybrid working applies. Minimum 3 days in office.

What do you need to succeed?
- You’ll be an experienced Product Manager with a background in developing payment platforms and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- You’ll have an in-depth knowledge of the payments industry, including emerging trend and technologies (payment networks and banking rails).
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines including wider product, engineering, commercial and legal.
- You’ll be strategic yet hands on with exceptional problem-solving skills.
