Impressive, right? To continue to drive the success of our Directories business, we have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Director of Print to join us. You’ll be responsible for our offline Printed Directory P&L and business plan to continue to drive impressive revenue and profit growth. You’ll also be the catalyst for fostering innovation and forging connections with our web products. Where do you fit in?
You’ll report to the Chief Growth Officer and own our Printed Directory product from strategy and business plan to delivery. This includes defining and executing strategic direction of our five year plan whilst overseeing the day to day operations and our Directories Production team. You’ll work closely together with varied departments across the business including finance, sales, marketing, and product to identify initiatives most key to our growth. You’ll lead our growing Directories Production team. The team, alongside our chosen printers, are responsible for the day to day production and delivery of the 80million directories we distribute annually! As a driving force behind the continuous improvements within this channel you’ll ensure we make use of latest technologies and processes to increase efficiency. You’ll also develop and manage budgets for the department, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost-effective operations, whilst monitoring financial performance.
Location: Portsmouth base, hybrid working applies with min 2days in the office and rest at home.

What do you need to succeed?
- An innovation-led or entrepreneurial approach to improve products and inspire teams to hit impressive growth goals. You are collaborative, fast paced and bring people on a journey with you.
- Experience in a growth or commercial role within a fast-paced B2C/B2B business with an offline offering. You’ll have a proven track record of developing commercial plans to deliver growth, working with sales and marketing teams to deliver the plan.
- Experience in advertising services with a strong offline focus.
- A problem solver and data-driven decision maker with excellent influencing skills.
- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) to drive recommendations, articulate trade-offs, and communicate plans to senior leaders and teams.
