Head of Strategic Procurement
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Head of Strategic Procurement. You'll help us lead the way in negotiating strategically critical partnerships with some of the most successful technology, software, marketing, and media companies in the UK. This is a new role and part of our growth mission to quadruple the size of our platform over the coming years. As a true contract management specialist with a strategic procurement approach, you’ll challenge the status quo. You’ll look for opportunities to do things differently across processes, tools, and supplier management. Location: Portsmouth base. Hybrid working applies. Minimum of 2 days per week in Portsmouth HQ required consistently.
Where do you fit in?
You’ll report directly to the CFO and work closely with the executive leadership team. You’ll leverage opportunities to support our growth mission via strategic procurement activity. This includes overseeing a team of Procurement Specialist working with a high volume of suppliers across tech, marketing, media and much more. You’ll personally oversee high risk supplier relationships to manage risk to the business. You'll future-proof our contracts as well as hold our partners to account on SLAs and other critical performance data. You’ll also oversee all RFP/RFI tender processes and personally run QBRs for our top 20 critical suppliers. You’ll be an inspiring leader and exceptional at engaging your stakeholders internally and externally.

What do you need to succeed?
- Previous experience in a similar Head of Contracts/ Procurement role with specific experience in complex contracts in the SaaS/ technology and high-value marketing contract space.
- A professional qualification such as CIPS / Legal / Accountancy or similar.
- You’ll be a seasoned negotiator and skilled in strategic thinking and upward management.
- Adaptable and flexible with resilience and pace to operate in a fast moving agile digital business.
