Are you awesome at Admin? A Spelling Specialist? A Grammar Guru? If you have an eagle eye for detail and can remain as cool as a cucumber when working to deadlines, then you’ll be a perfect fit for our friendly Directories Production team. This is no ordinary admin role – you'll be part of the team that produces the Checkatrade leaflet that reaches 18 million homes quarterly!
Location: Portsmouth. Hybrid working applies - 2 days in the office, 3 at home.
Where do you fit in?
Every year our directory of trades people reaches 70 million homes annually across the UK. You’ll join the team that creates and amends the adverts, and ensures they all are expertly proofread and ready for printing. Using excellent attention to detail, you’ll keep our records accurate and up to date. You’ll have a variety of tasks to get your teeth into whilst being part of a small friendly team who share their workload.

What do you need to succeed?
- Excellent English skills – your spelling, punctuation and grammar will be outstanding, along with amazing attention to detail
- You’ll be friendly and helpful with great IT skills and a willingness to learn. We use InDesign software, and will happily train you on our systems
- Experience with a wide range of admin tasks – you’ll be happy to answer calls and emails, be flexible to work to print deadlines and want to help people throughout our business
Hours – 35 Hours per week, Monday to Friday – currently 9am to 5pm. Flexibility will be required to meet print deadlines
