We have a newly created opportunity for a Senior Credit Control Manager to support the Group Financial Controller in the delivery of an expert team of Credit Control Advisors in a fast paced, growing business. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to deliver a strong controlled environment, showing a robust commercial acumen whilst collaborating with Senior stakeholders. Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire. Hybrid working applies – 2 days working in the office, 3 days working from home.

Reporting to our Group Financial Controller, you'll manage a team of circa 20 Credit Control Advisors, with direct line reporting of 4. You’ll be an inspiring leader, delivering operational targets whilst recruiting and developing the team to feel equipped and empowered to fulfil their roles and responsibilities. You’ll be their first contact for queries, problems, and coach them to consider their options and propose their own solutions. You will be involved with the implementation of a new Credit Control re-design alongside the roll out of a new Customer Relationship Management tool. You’ll manage relationships with 3rd party legal debt support providers to maximise return on investment. What do you need to succeed?
- Previous experience in a Head of Credit Control / Senior Credit Control Manager role within a Customer Service environment.
- Financial knowledge including budgeting, P&L and forecasting for debt management.
- Sound people leadership experience.
- Demonstrable experience of high volume, low value debt would be great!
