Trade Data Marketing Manager (B2B) 

6-12 month contract

We have an exciting opportunity for a data and insights driven Trade Marketing Manager/ Data Marketing Manager to undertake responsibility for management and optimisation of all trade marketing data to enable the team to deliver more targeted, personalised and accurate marketing campaigns to potential new trade members. If you have a passion for data management for marketing campaigns which deliver exceptional results, then we’d love to hear from you!

Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire or Kings Cross, London. Hybrid working applies – 2 days working in the office, 3 days working from home.

Our vision is to make Checkatrade the number one place homeowners go to get their jobs done by quality tradespeople. Reporting to the Trade CRM Director you will be guardian of all trade data and will be responsible for the growth and enrichment of our database to win more memberships from the UK’s finest trades.  Our subscription-based business is looking for an expert to hold responsibility for the end-to-end management of the timely data sourcing, system uploading and structural organisation to meet business targets. You’ll hold the definitive view of our total accessible trade universe to support effective campaign planning and optimising conversion to membership across our trade acquisition activity. And you’ll coordinate efforts to store, sync and deploy data efficiently from our multiple databases and interfaces e.g. SalesForce, WebOffice, Ultra, Pardot, MGage and SendinBlue. Additionally you will work closely with our BI teams to build real time visibly of marketing performance.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Previous Database segmentation experience. Have the ability to lead data sales/marketing campaigns and utilise the data to make a difference to the campaigns performance.
  • Experience managing technical aspects of key marketing systems and daily work with marketing automation, CRM, data services, and lead management methods.
  • Highly analytical and driven with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
