Partnership Manager
Are you a commercially astute Business Development or Marketing Partnership Manager with excellent relationship skills?
We are looking for an experienced B2B sales and marketing professional to secure business partnerships with national businesses and training centres. This is a trade focused opportunity that centres on trade acquisition and retention partnerships that generate financial savings for our members. Entrepreneurial, collaborative and driven, you’ll deliver growth through innovative acquisition and effective account management approaches, sound like you? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
Location - Portsmouth, Hampshire or Kings Cross, London. Hybrid working applies. Working in the office for 2 days per week and 3 days working from home.
Where do you fit in?
Reporting to the Director of Partnerships, you will identify and implement win/win relationships with national and regional businesses by securing partnerships that drive savings to Checkatrade members. Partnerships might include retailers or wholesalers that, provide Checkatrade with exclusive offers and discounts for our members or opportunities to market Checkatrade to their trade customers. You’ll do this by identifying and onboarding new partners and affiliates that fuel both sides of our digital marketplace. On the one-side, partners that introduce an increased number of tradespeople to our platform. On the other side, partnerships that drive consumer visits, fuelling demand for work across our trade member base. Alongside these supply and demand side activities, you’ll also seek to find partnerships that give our trade members access to unique benefits to further build the value they receive from Checkatrade. You’ll be a key part of a small but growing partnerships team. You are likely to have experience in securing partnership deals, including convincing negotiation and presentational skills. You’ll have a strong attention to detail, whether devising creative marketing material or processing legal contracts.
