We are looking for an experienced MuleSoft Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an agile environment with cutting edge technology in a business that is going places!  If you are a passionate developer, experienced with working with MuleSoft to build brilliant solutions, then we would love to hear from you!

Location: Remote (UK Based)

Where do you fit in?

The Trade Experience Team is on a mission to create the best web and mobile experience for our Trades to allow them to manage their account, interact with consumers and maximise their success on the platform. You’ll be working as a part of one of our autonomous Agile Scrum teams building and owning fast and accessible applications.

Our tech stack sits on top of GCP (Google Cloud), utilising cloud native solutions and serverless hosting. We use MuleSoft to interact with various data sources including Salesforce, hosted legacy systems and 3rd parties.

In addition, you’ll set standards on what our tech stack looks like, make architectural choices and work collaboratively with the wider team to shape the future of the Checkatrade platform. We take a customer focused approach, building quality applications that provide proven value to our homeowners and trades alike.

What do you need to succeed? 
  • Strong experience developing and deploying MuleSoft platforms.
  • Scripting language skills. E.g. bash.
  • CI/CD tools. Google Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or Bitrise.
  • Being a driven and enthusiastic person who isn’t afraid to fail and learn.

It’s not essential but would be great if you also have experience of:

  • Working directly with a team using a SCRUM framework.
  • Terraform and supporting frameworks.
  • Building within a serverless, event driven architecture.
  • Programming languages. TypeScript, React Native or C#.
