Sales Specialist / Business Development Advisor

Would you like to promote our exciting product portfolio to our existing membership base? Free from scripted conversations and cold calling, you will play a pivotal part in delivering our growth agenda. Where do you fit in?

Building on your sales, telesales, or business development experience, you’ll promote our exciting product portfolio to existing Checkatrade members. Much more than your average telesales job, you’ll put your sales and relationship building skills to good use within a forward-moving digital organisation, helping our Tradespeople to maximise their membership.

With a system that gives you plenty of time between calls, you’ll use your IT and admin skills to keep accurate, up to date records. You’ll have ongoing training in a high energy, motivated, growing team that enjoy earning lots of commission.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Experience of working to targets. Confidence in your sales abilities. Resilience. You’ll be positive and proactive, willing to learn and progress. 
  • You’ll use your sales and people skills to clearly explain the benefits of membership, accurately representing our brand.
  • You need to be sales driven with previous phone-based sales experience, have a consultative approach and offer exceptionally high standards of customer service.
  • You’ll need high integrity - you’ll naturally do the right thing, and go above and beyond, even when no one is looking.
  • You’ll have a strong work ethic, be adaptable and willing to learn and you’ll take pride in ensuring the success of your team and continued growth of Checkatrade.

We work 35 Hours per week – currently Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.
